Security Forces Seize Maoist Supply Cache Near Odisha–Chhattisgarh Border

In a significant anti-insurgency operation, personnel from the CRPF 65th Battalion uncovered a large cache of Maoist supplies near the Kulhadighat forest in Chhattisgarh’s Gariaband district, close to the Odisha border.

Acting on specific intelligence inputs, the forces launched an area domination mission along the Nuapada–Bindranwagarh corridor.

The search led to the discovery of essential materials buried underground—sewing machines, backpacks, footwear, ropes, medicines, and food supplies—believed to be intended for Maoist groups operating in the region.

The seized items were destroyed on-site by burning.

CRPF officials emphasised that such operations will continue to dismantle Maoist logistics and foster peace and development in the border areas.
