Sangram Keshari Mohapatra Assumes Charge as RDC Berhampur, Pushes for Digital Governance
Berhampur, (OT Webdesk) Sangram Keshari Mohapatra, IAS, officially took charge as the Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC) for Southern Odisha, marking a pivotal moment in the region’s administrative landscape.
The appointment, formalized on July 29, 2025, signals a renewed push toward digitisation and transparent governance.
Mohapatra’s immediate priority is the robust implementation of the Odisha State Workflow Automation System (OSWAS), a digital platform designed to streamline file management, enhance accountability, and eliminate paper-based processes.
Except for Assembly and Court-related matters, all administrative files are now mandated to be routed through OSWAS.
To assess progress, Mohapatra has proposed a review of the system’s performance over the past three months. Detailed instructions will be issued to district collectors shortly.
His leadership is expected to accelerate administrative reforms, reinforcing the state’s commitment to clean, efficient, and tech-driven governance.
