Sambalpur Police Bust Gambling Racket, 11 Arrested in Bareipali Raid

Sambalpur police have successfully dismantled a gambling racket in Bareipali following a targeted raid based on intelligence inputs.

Acting swiftly, officers apprehended 11 individuals engaged in illegal gambling activities.

During the operation, authorities seized Rs 52,600 in cash, 52 playing cards, and 11 mobile phones, along with four vehicles believed to have been used in the racket.

The arrested individuals are currently undergoing interrogation, and the seized items are being documented for further investigation.

Police officials emphasized their commitment to curbing unlawful activities in the region and reiterated that strict action will continue against organized gambling networks.
