Mumbai, June 16 (UNI) The Rupee on Monday fell by 8 paise at 86.16, a two-month low in the opening session, on strong dollar demand by bankers and importers amid rising crude oil prices.

The currency opened 10 paise down at 86.18 against the dollar.

It closed the previous session at 86.08.

The partially convertible rupee recorded intra-day highs and lows at 86.12 and 86.24, respectively, dealers added.
