RSS Chief Mohan Bhagwat arrives in Bhubaneswar for five-day Odisha visit

Bhubaneswar, (Orissa Today) Jan 30: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat arrived in Bhubaneswar on Thursday for a five-day visit to Odisha. During his visit, he is set to attend a memorial meeting and oversee various organisational activities related to the RSS.
Upon his arrival at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) in the afternoon, Bhagwat was given a warm welcome by RSS functionaries. The welcome was marked by a strong show of support from the local RSS workers and members.
After his arrival, Bhagwat proceeded under tight security to the Utkal Bipanna Sahayata Samiti office located in the Mancheswar area of the city. In the evening, he is scheduled to attend a memorial meeting in Bhubaneswar to honor Shivram Mohapatra, the former ‘Prant Sangh Chalak’.
Additionally, Bhagwat is expected to review the ongoing organisational activities of the RSS in Odisha. He will also participate in discussions on the centenary celebrations of the Sangh, a significant event for the RSS. Sumanta Kumar Panda, a senior RSS functionary, shared these details about Bhagwat’s itinerary.
