Revenue officers explore Odisha’s Adani Dhamra Port

Bhubaneswar, Aug 21 (UNI) A team of 83 Revenue Service Officers of the 2022 batch, currently undergoing training at the Revenue Officers Training Institute (ROTI) under the Odisha
Government, visited Adani Dhamra Port as part of their field exposure programme.

The visit aimed to familiarize the officers with large-scale infrastructure projects, public-private partnerships, and their socio-economic impact. The exposure is designed to enhance their understanding of ports, logistics management, and infrastructure development in the state.

Welcoming the delegation, Adani Dhamra Port CEO, Devendra Thakar, highlighted the port’s contribution to India’s and Odisha’s economic progress.

as loading and unloading processes.

The team visited key operational areas including the security control room, Occupational Health & Security (OHS), Jetty, Peask Season Surcharge (PSS), and the LNG terminal, gaining first hand exposure to critical aspects of port management.
The visit was coordinated in the presence of Manoj Patra, Joint Director of ROTI, along with senior port officials.
