Remainder of IPL 2025 to be held at six venues

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the resumption of the TATA IPL 2025. After extensive consultations with government and security agencies, and with all the key stakeholders, the Board has decided to proceed with the remainder of the season.

A total of 17 matches will be played across 6 venues, starting May 17, 2025, and culminating in the final on June 3, 2025. The revised schedule includes two double-headers, which will be played on two Sundays.


The playoffs are scheduled as follows:

– Qualifier 1 – May 29

– Eliminator – May 30

– Qualifier 2 – June 1

– Final – June 3

Venue details for the playoff matches will be announced at a later stage.


Following is the revised schedule of league matches :

May 17 : RCB vs KKR – 1930 hrs – Bengaluru
May 18 : RR vs PBKS – 1530 hrs – Jaipur, DC vs GT – 1930 hrs – Delhi
May 19 : LSG vs SRH – 1930 hrs – Lucknow
May 20 : CSK vs RR – 1930 hrs – Delhi
May 21 : MI vs DC ; 1930 hrs – Mumbai
May 22 : GT vs LSG – 1930 hrs- Ahmedabad
May 23 : RCB vs SRH – 1930 hrs – Bengaluru
May 24 : PBKS vs DC – 1930 hrs – Jaipur
May 25 : GT vs CSK – 1530 hrs – Ahmedabad, SRH vs KKR – 1930 hrs- Delhi
May 26 : PBKS vs MI – 1930 hrs – Jaipur
May 27 : LSG vs RCB – 1930 hrs – Lucknow.

So far three teams have got eliminated and the remaining seven teams are in the hunt for for the play offs spot, promising high voltage action in the remaining contests. This will be followed by the play offs and the final on June 3.
