President Droupadi Murmu set for two key Odisha visits this Nov
President Droupadi Murmu is set to make two significant visits to Odisha this November, prompting meticulous preparations across multiple state departments.
On November 20, the President will transit through Jharsuguda en route to Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, where she will attend the Jan Jatiya Gaurav Diwas. Her itinerary includes a special Indian Air Force flight from New Delhi to Jharsuguda, followed by a helicopter transfer to Gandhi Stadium and PG College Ground in Ambikapur. After the event, she will return to Jharsuguda and depart for Andhra Pradesh by 1:45 PM.
Her second visit on November 27 will be more ceremonial. She will arrive in Bhubaneswar at 2 PM, rest briefly at Raj Bhavan, and inaugurate the newly constructed Kalinga Guest House at 4 PM. She will then address the Odisha Legislative Assembly from 4:30 to 5:30 PM, followed by a dinner hosted by the Governor.
To ensure smooth execution, high-level meetings were held at Lok Seva Bhawan and the Legislative Assembly, chaired respectively by the Chief Secretary and Speaker Surama Padhy. Discussions covered security, convoy logistics, power supply, health services, and media protocols. Key officials including Anu Garg, Satyabrata Sahu, DGP Y.B. Khurania, and DG Fire Services Dr. Sudhanshu Sarangi were present.
These visits underscore the state’s commitment to precision, hospitality, and national pride.
