President Droupadi Murmu Concludes Similipal Visit, Heads to Bhubaneswar for Black Swan Conference
Bhubaneswar: President Droupadi Murmu wrapped up her two‑day visit to Mayurbhanj district with an overnight stay at the Gudugudia Forest Rest House inside Similipal Tiger Reserve.
During her stay, she inaugurated a tribal community development initiative at Gudugudia Ground, interacted with tribal women and youth, and distributed blankets to residents, underscoring her commitment to inclusive growth and empowerment of tribal communities.
After completing her engagements in Similipal, the President flew from Kaleikunda airbase to Bhubaneswar to attend the prestigious Black Swan Conference.
She will spend the night at Lok Bhavan before departing for Chhattisgarh on Saturday.
Elaborate security arrangements were in place both in Mayurbhanj and Bhubaneswar, coordinated by senior officials to ensure smooth proceedings.
This visit is part of President Murmu’s six‑day Odisha tour, which earlier included stops at Puri—where she performed rituals at Shwetaganga and Srimandir—and her native place, Rairangpur.
