
PM Modi’s Jharsuguda Visit: Top Officials Conduct Ground Review Ahead of Mega Event
Jharsuguda — With Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled to visit Jharsuguda on September 27, preparations are underway at full throttle.
A high-level team comprising Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, and ADG of Police Santosh Barlā arrived via chartered flight to conduct an on-site review of the arrangements.
The team inspected the proposed venue at Amalipali Padia, where the Prime Minister will address a public gathering and lay foundation stones for multiple development projects.
Discussions focused on crowd management, parking logistics, and security protocols to ensure a seamless experience for attendees.
Senior officials, including the Revenue Commissioner, IG of Police, District Collector, and SP, joined the review, emphasising coordination across departments. The administration has been advised to ensure that no logistical hurdles disrupt the event.
According to Minister Pujari, PM Modi will land at Jharsuguda Airport around 11 AM and proceed directly to the venue.
The one-hour program will include project inaugurations and a youth convention, where the Prime Minister is expected to address young citizens.
