PM Modi to Unveil Stamp and Coin at RSS Centenary Celebration in New Delhi

New Delhi, Sept 30 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be the Chief Guest at the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s (RSS) centenary celebrations on October 1, 2025, at the Dr Ambedkar International Centre.

The landmark event commemorates 100 years of the RSS, founded in 1925 by Dr Keshav Baliram Hedgewar in Nagpur.

To mark the occasion, PM Modi will release a specially designed commemorative postage stamp and coin, symbolising the Sangh’s enduring legacy in shaping India’s cultural and national identity.

The Prime Minister is also expected to address a gathering of dignitaries, volunteers, and members of the Sangh.

The RSS, a volunteer-driven organisation, has grown into a nationwide movement rooted in discipline, patriotism, and social responsibility.

Guided by the principle of “Sarvangeena Unnati” (all-round development), the Sangh has played a pivotal role in education, health, disaster relief, and community empowerment over the past century.

The centenary event will feature cultural performances, exhibitions, and speeches that highlight the RSS’s contributions to national unity and social upliftment.

Widespread participation is expected from across the country, making it a momentous occasion in India’s socio-political calendar.
