
PM Modi to Unveil Landmark Development Projects During Odisha Visit on September 27
Brahmapur, — Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Odisha on September 27 to participate in the national-level ‘Seva Parva’ program at Rengeilunda, Brahmapur.
The visit marks a pivotal moment in the state’s development trajectory, with a slew of high-impact projects scheduled for launch.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi chaired a high-level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan to oversee preparations, emphasising seamless coordination across departments and robust public engagement. “We must make this ‘Seva Parva’ program in Odisha truly memorable,” Majhi stated, highlighting the importance of synchronised efforts in health, security, and infrastructure.

- Expansion of eight Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) nationwide.
- Doubling of railway lines: Koraput-Baiguda and Manbazar-Koraput-Gorapur.
- Inauguration of the Sambalpur-Sarla flyover.
- Nationwide rollout of BSNL’s indigenous 4G network.
- MKCG Medical College and VIMSAR to be declared world-class super-speciality institutions.
- Launch of a pan-India skill development initiative.
- Housing support for 50,000 beneficiaries under PMAY.
- Additional public welfare schemes tailored for Odisha’s growth.
The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes detailed security protocols, public interaction plans, and inter-departmental coordination.
