Barbil (OT Webdesk): Under the directives of the Odisha government, the Parakram Shobha Yatra was conducted with great enthusiasm in Barbil, celebrating the valor and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces. The grand procession commenced at 7:30 AM from Vikas Mahal Ground, with citizens displaying an unwavering spirit of patriotism.

Communal Harmony and Active Participation

The event witnessed active participation from all communities, symbolising unity and national pride. Organisations such as Anjuman Islamia, Gurudwara Guru Singh Sabha, Chishtia Committee, and Prayas played a crucial role by arranging water and refreshments for the attendees, ensuring comfort and support. Residents expressed their appreciation by showering flowers on the procession from their rooftops, enhancing the grandeur of the event.

Administrative Recognition and Support

Several prominent officials, including Kendujhar MP Anant Nayak, DUDA Project Director Mirdha Toppo, Champua Sub-Collector Umakant Parida and Barbil Tehsildar Rakesh Kumar Panda, Barbil Municipality EO Ramesh Chandra Naik, Barbil IIC Ashok Kumar Nayak graced the occasion, reinforcing its significance. The local administration commended the collective dedication of all communities, recognising the event as a testament to unwavering national integrity and devotion.

Procession Route and Grand Finale

The rally proceeded through Basti, Punjabi Pada, Purana Bus Stand, Main Road, and Atal Chowk, finally culminating back at Vikas Mahal. As a mark of gratitude, a community langar was hosted at the Gurudwara, where participants were served meals and prasad, fostering a spirit of camaraderie and togetherness.
