Over Ten lakh employment letters issued through Job Fairs across Country: Dharmendra Pradhan
Bhubaneswar, July 12 (UNI) Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan today said that over 10 lakh employment letters have been issued so far through job fairs conducted across the country, including Odisha.
Inaugurating the 16th National Job Fair in Bhubaneswar, Pradhan said the government aims to ensure maximum participation of the youth in the nation’s development.
He informed that the 16th Job Fair was organised at 47 locations nationwide, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed appointment letters to over 51,000 newly recruited youth and women in various government departments and organisations via video conferencing.
At the Bhubaneswar event, Pradhan personally handed over appointment letters to 204 newly recruited candidates, including youth and women, employed in various departments of the Government of India.
He congratulated them on beginning a new chapter in their lives and contributing to their families’ well-being.
The Union Minister said the Job Fair is a step toward fulfilling Prime Minister Modi’s commitment to giving top priority to employment generation.
Pradhan also noted that India’s global profile has transformed significantly in fields such as technology, innovation, and startups, and the country has emerged as a global leader in
many areas.
He emphasized the need to harness the innovation, skills, and leadership of the youth to achieve the vision of making India a developed nation by 2047.
