Over 17 Lakh Women Added to Subhadra Yojana in Odisha After Verification
During the ongoing Odisha Assembly session, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced that more than 17.83 lakh women have been added to the Subhadra Yojana following ground-level verification.
According to official figures, 97.51 lakh beneficiaries have already received all three instalments under the scheme.
Additionally, 1.03 crore women collected the first instalment, while 1.01 crore accessed the second instalment.
Parida emphasised that the government remains committed to transparency and accountability in the scheme’s implementation.
She noted that the verification process ensures only genuine beneficiaries are included, thereby strengthening the credibility of the program.
The Deputy CM highlighted that Subhadra Yojana continues to empower women across Odisha by providing financial assistance in instalments.
She reiterated that the government will closely monitor progress and expand outreach to cover more households in the coming months.
