Orissa High Court Greenlights Six Iconic Gateways for Cuttack’s Durga Puja Festivities

Cuttack,  — In a festive boost to the city’s Durga Puja preparations, the Orissa High Court has approved the installation of six towering gateways across key locations in Cuttack.

The decision, welcomed by local puja committees and residents, reinforces the city’s reputation for hosting one of eastern India’s most elaborate celebrations.

The approved sites include Ranihaat, Chandini Chowk, Badambadi, Khannagar, Malgodown, and Shikharpur.

The court emphasised that permissions will be granted in two phases to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
