Odisha’s Bhavesh Patra Shines With 100 Percentile in JEE Main 2026
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 results, bringing cheer to thousands of aspirants across the country.
Out of more than 13.5 lakh registered candidates, 12 students have achieved the rare distinction of scoring a perfect 100th percentile.
Among them, Odisha’s Bhavesh Patra has emerged as a shining star, securing a 100th percentile and ranking 6th overall.
He is the only candidate from Odisha to feature in the elite list of toppers, marking a proud moment for the state.
The toppers represent diverse regions, including Delhi, Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Rajasthan, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and Telangana, showcasing the nationwide talent pool.
This year’s exam was conducted in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across 13 languages, with 13,55,293 candidates registered and 13,04,653 appearing for Paper 1 (B.E./B.Tech.).
With the JEE Main results now out, successful candidates will gear up for JEE Advanced 2026, the gateway to India’s premier engineering institutions, including the IITs.
