Odisha Vigilance unearths massive disproportionate assets from Assistant Er

Bhubaneswar, July 29 (UNI) Odisha Vigilance today uncovered massive disproportionate assets during raids at multiple locations linked to Raj Kishore Jena, Assistant Engineer of Roads and Buildings (R&B) Division-III, Bhubaneswar.
According to the Vigilance Directorate, the assets unearthed so far include one multi-storeyed building, two flats, and two commercial outlets located in Galleria and Symphony Malls in Bhubaneswar.
In addition, 13 high-value plots have been detected—nine in Bhubaneswar, three in Nayagarh, and one in Khordha.
Officials said bank deposits, financial investments, and other movable assets are currently being verified. The Vigilance Technical Wing is conducting detailed measurements and valuation of the seized properties.
The raids were launched based on allegations that Jena possessed assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
Simultaneous searches are being carried out at 10 locations across Bhubaneswar and Nayagarh.

The operation is being conducted by a team comprising seven Deputy Superintendents of Police (DSPs), five Inspectors, one Sub-Inspector, 11 Assistant Sub-Inspectors, and supporting staff.
The search was carried out under warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar.
The investigation is still ongoing, Vigilance sources confirmed.
