Bhubaneswar, Feb 11: The Odisha Vigilance Department conducted simultaneous searches at seven locations linked to Bidyadhar Pati, the Tahsildar of Remuna, Balasore, on allegations of possessing disproportionate assets (DA) beyond his known sources of income.
A massive team comprising 6 DSPs, 3 Inspectors, 10 ASIs, and other supporting staff carried out the searches based on search warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar. The operation was conducted at multiple locations in Bhubaneswar and Balasore.

Flat No. C604 at Tamarin Terraces, Sailashree Vihar, Bhubaneswar.
Flat No. B40406 (3BHK Executive) at Asotech Pride, Rudrapur, Bhubaneswar.
A double-storeyed house in Kuruda, Sadar police limits, Balasore.
His ancestral home at Ainri, under Soro police station, Balasore.
His office chamber at the Remuna Tahsildar’s office, Balasore.
His place of stay in Balasore.
House of a relative at Plot No. 625, Mars Villa, Panchasakha Nagar, Dumduma, Bhubaneswar.
The Vigilance team is thoroughly examining documents and assets at these locations. Further details regarding the extent of disproportionate assets are expected after the completion of the investigation.
