Odisha Vigilance Nabs Cuttack RI for Rs 10K Bribe in Land Mutation Case

Cuttack, Jan 22: Odisha Vigilance officials today apprehended Janaki Ranjan Mallik, Revenue Inspector (RI) of Kakhadi Circle under Sadar Tahasil, Cuttack, while accepting a bribe of Rs 10,000 from a land owner.

According to officials, the complainant had applied online for mutation and issuance of ROR (Patta). RI Mallik fixed the hearing date for January 27, 2026, and asked the applicant to meet him earlier on January 20.
