Odisha Unveils Go‑Adventure Portal to Boost Tourism

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida launched the state’s new Go‑Adventure Portal at Lok Seva Bhavan, positioning Odisha as a premier adventure tourism hub in Eastern India.

The initiative aims to streamline registrations, licensing, and safety compliance for adventure operators while encouraging young entrepreneurs to invest in the sector.

The event saw the signing of MoUs with the Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF) and the Aero Club of India (ACI) to strengthen safety audits, training, and aerial sports regulation.

Parida emphasised that safety would remain the cornerstone of Odisha’s adventure tourism expansion.

Chief Secretary Anu Garg highlighted the portal’s role in advancing Odisha’s vision of Utkarsh Odisha by 2036 and Viksit Bharat by 2047, noting its potential to generate employment, boost local economies, and enhance Odisha’s global identity.

Licenses were formally issued to domestic water‑based operators, marking a step toward ease of doing business in the sector.

The launch was attended by Aero Club of India President Rajiv Pratap Rudy, NIWS expert Dr Pawan Gupta, and senior state officials, underscoring Odisha’s commitment to modernising tourism infrastructure and promoting sustainable adventure experiences.
