Odisha Unveils ‘Ama Saathi’ WhatsApp ChatBot to Streamline Public Grievance Redressal
Bhubaneswar: In a major stride toward citizen-centric governance, the Odisha government has launched the ‘Ama Saathi’ Unified WhatsApp ChatBot, aimed at simplifying public grievance redressal and service delivery.
Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja officially inaugurated the platform, which promises to bring government services directly to citizens’ fingertips.
The chatbot offers a single-window interface through WhatsApp, enabling users to lodge complaints, request services, and track resolution status in real time.
Officials emphasised that the initiative is part of Odisha’s broader push for e-governance and inclusive digital outreach.
By leveraging widely used technology, the state aims to enhance transparency, efficiency, and accessibility in public service delivery.
