Odisha to Provide Financial Assistance to Left-Out Subhadra Yojana Beneficiaries on April 22, 23

Subhadra Yojana Financial Assistance

In a significant move, the Odisha government announced its decision to offer financial aid to Subhadra Yojana beneficiaries who were previously excluded from receiving support.

The financial assistance will be disbursed on April 22 and 23, following a comprehensive survey aimed at identifying the most deserving applicants.

According to Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, approximately 1.7 lakh new applications were received and forwarded to district headquarters earlier this month. A door-to-door survey will commence on April 14 to verify the eligibility of applicants. This step has been taken to ensure that vulnerable individuals, including those whose second installment was withheld due to disqualification, receive the much-needed aid.

The Deputy Chief Minister also emphasized that no new applications will be accepted going forward. Special outreach programs will be conducted to address outstanding issues and ensure financial assistance reaches all eligible beneficiaries.

This initiative highlights the government’s commitment to equitable resource distribution and its responsiveness to the needs of the people.
