Odisha SI Exam Fraud: Over 100 Candidates Detained in Recruitment Scam

Berhampur Police have exposed a sweeping recruitment scam in the Odisha Sub-Inspector (SI) examination, detaining over 100 candidates suspected of orchestrating or participating in fraudulent activities.

The crackdown followed a tip-off that led authorities to Andhra Pradesh’s Srikakulam district, where the candidates were intercepted en route to Hyderabad.

Sources reveal that a private organisation responsible for exam logistics may have facilitated the cheating operation, allegedly transporting aspirants to Hyderabad for impersonation and document forgery.
