Odisha Scholarship Portal Reopens for 2025–26 | Apply by Feb 26
The Higher Education Department of Odisha has reopened its online scholarship portal for the academic session 2025–26, giving students another opportunity to secure financial assistance.
Applications will be accepted from February 6 to February 26, 2026, with officials confirming that no further extensions will be granted.
The reopened portal covers several key schemes, including the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana, e-Medhabruti (UG Merit, PG Merit, Technical & Professional Merit), Byasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme, and the Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana.
Students outside the SAMS system are required to upload documents via Digilocker to ensure faster verification.
To assist applicants, the department has provided FAQs on the portal and set up helplines (0674-2396550, 0674-2391126, 0674-2391127, 0674-2391128) along with an email support channel at scholarshiphed@gmail.com.
Officials emphasised that the initiative aims to ensure no eligible student misses out on financial support, helping them continue their education without disruption.
The reopening is seen as a crucial opportunity for those who missed the earlier deadline to apply.
