A collision between a Hyva truck and a bike near Pipili bypass claimed two more lives and left one critically injured.

Elsewhere, a youth died in Ganjam after his motorcycle was hit by an unidentified vehicle. In Keonjhar, a parked truck with brake failure was struck from behind, severely injuring the driver.

In Nilgiri, a speeding tipper carrying stones overturned, injuring its driver.

Preliminary reports suggest high speed, brake failures, and negligence in handling stalled vehicles as common causes.
