Odisha Reopens Scholarship Portal for Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana 2025–26
The Higher Education Department of Odisha has reopened the online scholarship portal under the Mukhyamantri Medhabi Chhatra Protsahan Yojana for the academic year 2025–26.
Eligible students can now submit fresh applications between February 6 and February 26, 2026, with no further extension to the deadline.
Institution heads have been directed to validate applications by March 6, 2026, ensuring the timely processing of scholarships. The reopened window covers multiple schemes, including:
- e‑Medhabruti (UG Merit)
- e‑Medhabruti (PG Merit)
- e‑Medhabruti (Technical & Professional Merit)
- Vyasakabi Fakir Mohan Bhasabruti Scheme
- Gopabandhu Sikhya Sahayata Yojana
A separate merit list will be prepared for applications received during this period. Students outside the SAMS system must upload required documents via DigiLocker.

The initiative aims to extend merit‑based financial assistance to deserving students, strengthening access to higher education across Odisha.
