Odisha Police to Host JUVENTICA Conclave on Children’s Digital Rights & Safety
Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Police, in collaboration with UNICEF, will organise JUVENTICA – Digital Rights & Safety of Children Conclave on March 14, 2026, at Police Bhawan, Bhubaneswar.
The conclave aims to highlight the growing importance of children’s safety in the digital space and promote responsible online engagement.
Senior officials, educators, parents, students, child rights experts, and digital creators will participate in the event.
Chief Secretary of Odisha, Smt Anu Garg, IAS, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
The program will also feature DGP Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, IPS, and DGP CID-CB Vinaytosh Mishra, IPS, among other dignitaries.
Highlights of the conclave include keynote addresses on data protection and age‑appropriate consent, a celebrity fireside chat on digital culture, and panel discussions on policing responses to online harms and safeguarding children’s rights in digital spaces.
Speaking ahead of the event, Smt Shyni S., IPS, emphasised the need to guide children in both physical and digital environments, describing the conclave as a platform for dialogue among families, institutions, and law enforcement.
The initiative underscores Odisha Police’s commitment to building a safer digital ecosystem for young people, while encouraging collective responsibility across society.
