Odisha Police Officers Win Kendriya Dakshata Padak for Special Operations Bravery

In a proud moment for Odisha, fourteen officers from the state police have been conferred with the prestigious Kendriya Grihmantri Dakshata Padak for their exemplary performance in high-risk special operations.

The award, presented by the Ministry of Home Affairs, celebrates courage, precision, and dedication in internal security duties.

Among the honorees is Gundala Reddy Raghavendra, IPS, former SP of Nuapada and current SP of Jharsuguda, whose leadership in critical missions earned national acclaim.

The decorated team includes elite members of the Special Operations Group (SOG), recognised for their role in counter-insurgency and tactical operations across Odisha.
