Bhubaneswar, May 27, ( OT Webdesk)– In a major push towards technological advancement, the Odisha government has announced plans to replace the old Odisha Computer Application Centre (OCAC) building in Bhubaneswar with a state-of-the-art Technology Business Tower.
Estimated to cost between Rs 100 crore and Rs 200 crore, the upcoming tower will span 3 lakh square feet, offering cutting-edge infrastructure for IT, ITeS, ESDM firms, startups, and innovation hubs.
Designed to foster collaboration and enterprise growth, the new facility will include incubation zones, co-working spaces, and networking areas to attract emerging tech firms.
The Project Management Agency (PMA), overseeing the development, will also assist in creating seven additional tech business parks across Odisha, including a major facility in Keonjhar with 1.5 lakh square feet of built-up space.
Officials believe this ambitious initiative will boost investment, employment, and innovation while positioning Bhubaneswar as a premier digital economy.
With Odisha making strides in technology-driven development, industry leaders are optimistic that the project will cement the state’s reputation as a hub for IT and digital entrepreneurship in eastern India.
