Odisha Parab 2026 Inaugurated in Ahmedabad Showcasing Culture, Cuisine & Tourism
Ahmedabad, March 21: Odisha Parab 2026, a vibrant cultural festival showcasing the rich heritage of Odisha, was inaugurated today at the Gujarat University Convention & Exhibition Centre.
The event was jointly launched by Odisha Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida and Gujarat Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Rameshkumar Sanghavi.
Organised by the Department of Tourism, Government of Odisha, with FICCI as the industry partner, the three‑day festival (March 21–23) brings together Odisha’s arts, crafts, handlooms, authentic cuisine, and tourism experiences.
Supported by the Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department, Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts Department, ORMAS, and Mission Shakti, the festival aims to strengthen cultural ties between Odisha and Gujarat.
Highlights include exhibitions of textiles and handicrafts, culinary showcases of Odia delicacies, and performances of classical, folk, and tribal art forms.
A dedicated tourism pavilion presents Odisha’s diverse destinations and products, positioning the state as an experiential travel hub.
Key dignitaries present included Ahmedabad Municipal Commissioner Banchanidhi Pani, Tourism Commissioner‑cum‑Secretary Balwant Singh, and Tourism Director Deepankar Mohapatra, alongside industry leaders and members of the Odia diaspora.
Odisha Parab 2026 is open to the public, inviting Ahmedabad residents to immerse themselves in the spirit, culture, and hospitality of Odisha.
