Odisha Matric Examinations 2026 Conclude Smoothly | Results Expected in May
The Odisha High School Certificate (HSC) examinations for 2026 concluded successfully on March 2 across 3,082 centres statewide.
Beginning on February 19, the exams were closely monitored through live surveillance from a central command control room to ensure transparency.
Board of Secondary Education (BSE) President Srikant Tarai confirmed that no malpractice or rule violations were reported, with only minor issues at a few centres.
Evaluation of OMR sheets has already commenced, while assessment of subjective papers will begin on March 19. Around 14,000–15,000 teachers will be engaged across 51 evaluation centres.
Results are expected to be declared in the first or second week of May, provided the schedule runs smoothly.
To make the process more student‑friendly, BSE will provide digital certificates and marksheets online.
This year’s examinations also introduced enhanced security measures, including AI‑integrated monitoring, QR codes, and watermarks on question papers, reinforcing fairness and credibility in the evaluation process.
