Bhubaneswar witnessed a historic moment as the Black Swan Summit India 2026 opened its doors, positioning Odisha at the forefront of India’s digital transformation.
The summit brought together global leaders, policymakers, and industry pioneers to chart a roadmap for AI-driven fintech, skilling, and sustainable job creation.
Chief speakers emphasised Odisha’s remarkable economic journey—from a $112 billion economy today to an ambitious target of $500 billion by 2036 and $1.5 trillion by 2047.
The state’s strengths in digital infrastructure, governance stability, and a robust talent pipeline were highlighted as key drivers of this transformation.
Sessions ranged from AI in financial services and inclusive InsurTech ecosystems to strategies for Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and continuous learning infrastructure.
Strategic MoUs were signed with Bajaj General Insurance, Advanze Tech, Spice Money, Symbo Insurtech, and ANT International, reinforcing Odisha’s commitment to innovation and women’s entrepreneurship.
The summit underscored Odisha’s shift from a “mining economy to a mind economy,” with a strong focus on skills, innovation, and inclusive growth.
Day 2 is set to feature President Droupadi Murmu as the Chief Guest, with discussions on sectoral transformation and capital markets.
