Odisha Gymnasts Shine at 54th All India Railway Championship
Kolkata witnessed stellar performances from Odisha’s women gymnasts at the 54th All India Railway Gymnastics Championship, held from February 4–6, 2026.
Pranati Nayak, representing Chittaranjan Locomotive Works, clinched the Gold medal in the Uneven Bars with a score of 11.75, impressing judges with her execution and difficulty.
Meanwhile, Karishma of South Eastern Railway showcased her versatility by securing three Bronze medals — Uneven Bars (9.30), Balance Beam (10.90), and Floor Exercise (11.25).
The championship featured seven railway units, including South Eastern Railway, Eastern Railway, South Central Railway, CLW, Western Railway, Northern Railway, and North Central Railway.
Organised by the South Eastern Railway Sports Association, the event highlighted the depth of talent across India’s railway sports ecosystem.
These achievements underscore the pivotal role of the Odisha AM/NS India Gymnastics High Performance Centre, which continues to nurture athletes who excel nationally and internationally.
