Odisha Govt Transfers Key OAS Officers, Reassigns Five BDOs Across Districts

(OT Webdesk)In a significant administrative shake-up, the Government of Odisha has issued fresh transfer orders for several Odisha Administrative Service (OAS) officers, including five Block Development Officers (BDOs), across multiple districts.

The move, aimed at streamlining governance and enhancing service delivery, was formalised through notifications from the General Administration & Public Grievance Department and the Panchayati Raj & Drinking Water Department.

Among the notable transfers:

  • Saradakanti Dalal, previously Under Secretary at the Board of Revenue, has been appointed Administrative Officer at the State Pollution Control Board in Bhubaneswar.
  • Shiv Shankar Mishra, earlier posted as PA, ITDA Karanjia, will now serve as PA, ITDA Keonjhar. A prior notification regarding his posting has been officially cancelled.
