Odisha govt constitutes Committee to monitor situation in Kotia Gram Panchayat

Bhubaneswar, Apr 22 (UNI) The Odisha government has decided to form a committee to review and monitor the ongoing situation concerning the Kotia Gram Panchayat in the Koraput district, located along the border with Andhra Pradesh.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi held a detailed discussion and decided to constitute the committee to address the border dispute issue involving Kotia Gram Panchayat.

According to official sources, the committee will be chaired by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari. It will be responsible for monitoring the current situation and reporting directly to the Chief Minister.

The meeting was attended by Revenue and Disaster Management Minister Suresh Pujari, Works and Law Minister Prithviraj Harichandan, Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja, Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Nikunj Bihari Dhal, DGP Y.B. Khurania, and senior officials from the Revenue and Home Departments, as well as the Koraput District Collector.

Scheduled Tribes and Caste Development Minister Nityanand Gond joined the meeting virtually from Nabarangpur.
