Bhubaneswar, June 12,(OT Webdesk) – The Odisha Higher Education Department has announced that first-year undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) classes for the 2025–26 academic session will commence from July 10, 2025.
Admissions will be conducted in multiple rounds through the Student Academic Management System (SAMS) portal to streamline the process.
- Round 1: Allotment – June 12, Admissions – June 13–17
- Round 2: Allotment – June 22, Admissions – June 23–25
- Round 3: Allotment – July 1, Admissions – July 2–4
- Final List: Released July 13, Admissions on July 14
- A second phase of UG admissions will follow after the CHSE supplementary results are announced.
- Round 1: Allotment – June 13, Admissions – June 16–18
- Round 2: Allotment – June 23, Admissions – June 24–26
- Round 3: Allotment – July 3, Admissions – July 4–8
- Final List: Released July 22, Final Admissions on July 25
Separately, Plus II admissions began on May 24, with the first merit list expected on July 7, and classes tentatively starting July 24. All admissions will be processed via , ensuring a smooth transition for thousands of students.
