Odisha Govt Clears Rs 4,353 Cr Investments, 7,815 Jobs to Be Created Across 11 Districts
Under the leadership of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Odisha has taken a decisive step toward becoming the industrial hub of Eastern India.
At the 142nd State Level Single Window Clearance Authority (SLSWCA) meeting, chaired by Chief Secretary Shri Manoj Ahuja, the government approved 20 projects worth Rs 4,353 crore, expected to generate 7,815 jobs across 11 districts.
The projects span diverse sectors, including chemicals, aluminium downstream, electronics, IT services, renewable energy, tourism, infrastructure, and food processing.
Notable approvals include NTPC SAIL Power Company’s floating solar project in Sundargarh, Annantham Solar Energies’ solar cell and module facility in Dhenkanal, and RKD Hotels’ resort in Puri, which alone promises over 1,100 jobs.
By distributing investments across districts such as Angul, Dhenkanal, Khordha, Puri, Sambalpur, and Keonjhar, the state aims to ensure balanced regional growth.
The government’s focus on youth employment, skill development, and sustainable industrialisation aligns with its long‑term vision of building a prosperous Odisha by 2036.
Officials emphasised that these approvals reflect Odisha’s investor‑friendly policies and commitment to inclusive governance, where industrial growth directly contributes to community development.
With strong reforms and proactive facilitation, Odisha is positioning itself as a leading industrial destination in Eastern India.
