Odisha Govt appoints Chairpersons & Members for OSCW and OSCPCR

Bhubaneswar, Aug 5 (UNI) The Odisha Government today appointed Sovana Mohanty as Chairperson of the Odisha State Commission for Women (OSCW) and Babita Patra as
Chairperson of the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights (OSCPCR).

Alongside these appointments, the government named Pratibha Satpathy, Urmila Mohapatra, Kalpana Mallick, and Mukta Sahu as members of the Odisha State Commission for Women.

Additionally, Sukeshi Oram, Kalpana Lenka, Chandana Das, Kasturi Mishra, Manasmita Khuntia, and Sujata Nayak were appointed as members of the Odisha State Commission for Protection of Child Rights.

All appointments—both chairpersons and commission members—will be for a term of three years from the date of assuming office, or until the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier.

A notification to this effect has been issued by the Department of Women and Child Development.
