Odisha Governor Spreads Festive Cheer at Lok Bhavan Garden
Bhubaneswar: Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati celebrated Makar Sankranti with children and families at Lok Bhavan Garden, creating a vibrant atmosphere of joy and togetherness.
The Governor warmly greeted young visitors, exchanged festive wishes, and distributed sweets, chocolates, and pens, delighting the children.
The garden, beautifully decorated for the occasion, has been open to the public from January 10 to 20, drawing thousands of visitors daily.
A major highlight this year was the newly developed Atal Ban (Atal Van) ecological park, which attracted significant attention from visitors.
Dr Kambhampati emphasised the importance of such natural spaces for recreation, learning, and holistic development of children.
Expressing happiness over the overwhelming public response, the Governor noted that Lok Bhavan Garden has become a hub of festive celebration and community bonding during the Sankranti season.
