Odisha Government Reshuffles Key IAS Officers to Bolster Administrative Efficiency

Bhubaneswar, September 12, — In a strategic move aimed at enhancing governance and streamlining departmental leadership, the General Administration & Public Grievance Department of Odisha has announced a series of high-level IAS transfers across critical sectors.

According to Notification No. PTI-GAD-SER1-ESTICO31-2016-312311/AIS.1, four senior IAS officers have been reassigned to new roles:

  • Vijay Amruta Kulange (RR-2013) has been formally appointed as Director, Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Services, Odisha, Cuttack. He will continue to hold the additional charge of Managing Director, OMFED.
  • Premjit Nayak (SCS-2014) transitions from Director, AYUSH to Additional Secretary in the ST & SC Development, Minorities and Backwards Classes Welfare Department.
  • Anjana Panda (SCS-2015) moves from Additional Secretary, Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare to Director, AYUSH, Bhubaneswar.
  • P. Anvesha Reddy (RR-2017) retains her position as Excise Commissioner, Odisha, while continuing her additional charge as Inspector General of Registration, Odisha, Cuttack.

This reshuffle reflects the state’s commitment to responsive governance and optimized resource allocation across departments handling public health, welfare, and regulatory services.
