The Odisha Higher Education Department has launched an ambitious initiative under its UPSC Civil Services Residential Coaching Scheme for the year 2025–26. The program aims to provide free residential coaching to 200 talented individuals, particularly from underprivileged and rural areas, to empower them in pursuing their dream of becoming civil servants.
Selected candidates will benefit from 11 months of intensive training tailored to the UPSC Civil Services syllabus, including sessions for Prelims, Mains, General Studies, and Optional papers. The program is fully residential, with free food and accommodation provided throughout the coaching period.
Interested candidates can apply online via the SAMS portal from April 15, 2025, at 4:00 PM to May 9, 2025, at 11:45 PM. The application fee is ₹100. The selection process will be based on a pre-qualifying entrance examination scheduled for June 8, 2025. Admit cards will be issued on June 3, 2025, through the SSB Odisha website.
