Bhubaneswar, March 23: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the Assembly that 3,176 police posts remain vacant across the state’s 706 police stations.

Out of a sanctioned strength of 14,528 positions, the shortfall is affecting law enforcement capacity and public safety.
