Odisha Extends Krishi Vidya Nidhi Scholarship Deadline to December 20, 2025
In a major relief for students from farming families, the Odisha government has extended the application deadline for the Krishi Vidya Nidhi Yojana to December 20, 2025.
The flagship scholarship program, part of the CM‑KISAN scheme, provides financial assistance to children of farmers pursuing professional and technical courses.
Originally scheduled to close on November 30, the application window was extended following numerous requests from students who missed the deadline.
The Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Empowerment announced that institutions must complete verification by December 25, while district‑level Chief Agriculture Officers will forward approved applications to the state by January 25, 2026.
Officials have urged all eligible students to apply promptly through the official portal, emphasising that the scholarship is a crucial step in supporting higher education for farming families across Odisha.
