Odisha Ensures Ample LPG and Fuel Supply Amid Concerns

Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg has reassured residents that the state has sufficient stocks of LPG, petrol, and diesel, urging people not to panic over supply concerns.

A high-level meeting at Lok Seva Bhawan, attended by senior officials and representatives from IOCL, HPCL, and BPCL, reviewed the current distribution status.

Oil companies confirmed that supplies remain uninterrupted, including to essential institutions such as schools and hospitals.

The Chief Secretary directed companies to maintain a balanced supply chain and ensure transparent communication with the public.

Firms have also been instructed to submit daily supply reports to the Food Supplies and Consumer Welfare Department, mirroring the updates they provide to the central government.

Authorities emphasised that Odisha is well-stocked with fuel and cooking gas, and residents can remain assured of continued availability.
