Odisha Deputy CM Singh Deo Pledges to End TB on World Tuberculosis Day 2026
On the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day 2026, Odisha’s Deputy Chief Minister Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo reaffirmed the state’s determination to eliminate tuberculosis.
In a public message, Singh Deo emphasised that TB is both preventable and curable, urging citizens to unite in awareness, timely care, and collective resolve.
Highlighting the vision of “End TB. Empower Lives. Build a Healthier Tomorrow,” he called for community-driven action to create a healthier and more resilient Odisha for future generations.
His statement underscored the importance of empowerment and responsibility in tackling one of the world’s oldest infectious diseases.
