Officials highlighted achievements in bank loans, interest subvention, and livelihood schemes that have empowered lakhs of women across the state.
Parida emphasised the government’s vision of creating more “Lakhpati Didis”—women earning lakhs annually—and “Mahalakhpati Didis”, symbolising sustainable prosperity. She underscored the importance of market linkages, skill development, digital empowerment, and training to transform SHG members into entrepreneurs and leaders.
Senior officials, including Commissioner-cum-Secretary Sushri Manasi Nimbhal and Director Dr Monika Priyadarshini, along with representatives from all districts, participated in the review.
The meeting reinforced Mission Shakti’s role in driving financial independence, social empowerment, and economic growth in Odisha.
