Odisha deputes two officers to assist Odia workers injured in Sigachi Pharma fire

Bhubaneswar, July 2 (UNI) The Odisha Government has deputed two officers to provide assistance and support to the families of Odia workers affected by the fire incident at Sigachi Pharma Company in Sangareddy district of Telangana on July 1.

In the tragic incident, four Odia workers lost their lives, four were injured, and five others are still reported missing. The injured workers are currently undergoing treatment at a nearby hospital.

All the affected individuals from Odisha were employed at Sigachi Pharma Company.

Two officers – Dr. Chandra Shekhar Hota and Pritish Kumar Panda – have reached the site and are assisting the Sangareddy district administration in locating the missing Odia workers.

The officers have visited the injured workers in the hospital and are extending all possible support, including ensuring proper medical treatment.

Meanwhile, the Directorate of Odisha Family Affairs has made arrangements to bring back the bodies of the deceased to Odisha and is coordinating necessary assistance for their bereaved families.
