Odisha CM’s Public Grievance Hearing Suspended on Feb 23 Due to Assembly Session

Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Chief Minister’s public grievance hearing (Jana Abhiyoga Sunani), scheduled for Monday, February 23, 2026, has been suspended.

According to an official release from the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the cancellation is due to the ongoing sixth session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly.

This marks the first suspension of the grievance hearing in February 2026.

The department has clarified that the next date for the hearing will be announced later through newspapers and other mass media platforms.

The Jana Abhiyoga Sunani is a key initiative that allows citizens to directly present their grievances before the Chief Minister.

The temporary suspension underscores the priority given to legislative proceedings during the Assembly session.
