Odisha CM’s Public Grievance Hearing Suspended on December 8 Due to Assembly Session
Bhubaneswar, Dec 5: The Odisha Chief Minister’s public grievance hearing, a vital forum for citizens to directly raise concerns with the government, will not be held on Monday, December 8, 2025.
According to an official notification from the General Administration and Public Grievance Department, the suspension is necessitated by the Chief Minister’s packed schedule, including prior commitments and the ongoing fifth session of the 17th Odisha Legislative Assembly.
The department assured that the next date for the grievance hearing will be communicated promptly through newspapers and other mass media channels. Citizens who had planned to attend are advised to stay tuned for updates.
The grievance hearing initiative has long served as a bridge between the government and the people, offering a platform to address issues ranging from administrative delays to public service complaints.
Its temporary halt comes amid a busy winter session of the assembly, which is currently deliberating on key state matters.
